Information We Collect To provide and improve our Service, we may collect the following types of information: • Personal Data: Email address, first name, last name, profile images (if uploaded by the user), and user role. • School Data: School name, school ID, class or period membership, team/group information, and invite or join codes. • Academic Data: GPA, attendance percentage, tardies, extracurricular information, and other academic metrics provided by authorized school users. • Engagement Data: Recognition points, OVR scores, ratings, streaks, badges, trophies, leaderboards, and related classroom activity. • Classroom Data: Feed posts, announcements, recognition activities, and other classroom content. • Parent/Guardian Data: Parent or guardian name, email address, linked student information, and parent-student connection information where applicable. • Technical Data: Firebase Authentication UID, timestamps, push notification tokens, application preferences, and information related to uploaded files. • CSV Data: Authorized teachers or school administrators may upload student information through CSV files, including student IDs, names, GPA, attendance, tardies, extracurricular information, teacher information, and guardian information. Passwords are handled securely by Firebase Authentication and are not stored by the Service in plain text. 2. How We Use Your Data We use the collected data for various purposes: • To provide and maintain the Service. • To create and manage user accounts. • To allow schools and teachers to manage classes, rosters, students, and classroom engagement. • To award recognition points and calculate OVR scores, streaks, badges, and related statistics. • To provide leaderboards, classroom feeds, announcements, and academic analytics. • To allow authorized parents or guardians to connect with students. • To send push notifications and reminders. • To process authorized CSV uploads. • To provide customer care and technical support. • To maintain the security and reliability of the Service. 3. Third-Party Services We use third-party services to facilitate our Service. These third parties may process your information only as necessary to perform specific services on our behalf. • Google Firebase: We use Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), and Cloud Functions to provide authentication, data storage, file storage, notifications, and backend functionality. We do not use classroom or student information for third-party advertising. Information may be accessible to authorized teachers, principals, school administrators, super administrators, students, or linked parents/guardians according to their role and the school's configuration. Service providers such as Google Firebase may process information as necessary to operate the Service. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or our legal rights. 5. Data Security The security of your data is important to us, but no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We use reasonable security measures, including authentication, role-based access controls, access restrictions, and Firebase security features, to help protect information stored and processed through the Service. 6. Data Retention (How Long We Keep Your Data) We will retain Personal Data and school or classroom data for as long as an account or school relationship is active or as needed to provide the Service. When an account is deleted, applicable personal information may be deleted or anonymized, subject to legal, security, backup, and operational requirements. Some shared classroom or school information may remain available to authorized school administrators according to the school's retention procedures. 7. Children's Privacy Our Service may be used by students who are under the age of 13 or otherwise considered minors under applicable law. OVR 360 is designed for use in a school or educational environment. Student information is used to provide educational and classroom functionality and is not used for third-party advertising. Schools and educational institutions are responsible for obtaining any parental or guardian consent required by applicable law and for ensuring that they have the appropriate authority to provide student information to the Service. Where applicable, schools are responsible for complying with education privacy laws and regulations, including FERPA and other applicable student privacy requirements. 8. Account Deletion OVR 360 provides an in-app account deletion option where available. Users may request deletion of their account and applicable personal information through the available account deletion functionality. Schools or authorized school administrators may also request deletion of applicable student or school information. Some information may be retained when required or permitted by law or for legitimate security, backup, or operational purposes. 9. Advertising and Sale of Data OVR 360 is an education and classroom engagement application. We do not: • Sell personal information. • Sell student information. • Use classroom student information for third-party advertising. • Use student information for targeted advertising. 10.
